As Professor Vellas stated, we are facing an unprecedented global ageing process, and the scientific community must do everything possible to maximise innovation in order to rapidly increase healthy longevity.
IHU HealthAge is therefore committed to open science to accelerate discoveries within an international community supporting the objectives of the global roadmap for healthy longevity launched in 2023.
The aim of this pillar is to promote and facilitate open science practices within IHU, specifically to enable:
- The sharing of clinical, preclinical, and fundamental data (including omic data and biological clocks) from IHU HealthAge with the entire scientific community, both nationally and internationally.
- The open access publication of research results from IHU HealthAge.
These actions will help foster scientific advances, innovation, and progress, increase the efficiency of research, encourage new collaborations, and share our results with the scientific community and citizens.
