The scientific community must therefore intensify research efforts to extend health-span to ensure prolonged lifespan is accompanied by good health and well-being. To this end, IHU HealthAge through its commitment to open science aims to accelerate scientific discoveries within the international research community in order to gain a better understanding of healthy aging based on the World Health Organisation\u2019s concept of intrinsic capacity and its underpinning biology. This goal supports the objectives of the \u2018Global Roadmap for Healthy Longevity\u2019, launched in 2023 (<a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/46EthZ6\">bit.ly\/46EthZ6<\/a>), which provides recommendations to help achieve healthy population longevity in order to foster meaningful, dignified advanced years of life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The IHU HealthAge Open Science pillar 5, specifically seeks to promote the sharing of data obtained from IHU studies, currently focusing on our flagship study: \u00a0the \u2018INStitute for Prevention\u2019 \u2018healthy agIng\u2019 and \u2018medicine Rejuvenative\u2019 \u2018translational\u2019 (INSPIRE-T) study (<a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/47reu4C\">https:\/\/bit.ly\/47reu4C<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">INSPIRE-T data currently comprises 3 years of longitudinal data. <strong>Table 1 <\/strong>in the data access application (see hyperlink below) details the timings of study visits and numbers of subjects at each visit.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Core clinical data available in INSPIRE-T includes: sociodemographics, medical information and clinical examinations, lifestyle information, tests residing under the umbrella of the intrinsic capacity domains, data on functional status and ICOPE Steps 1-4 (see <strong>Table 2 <\/strong>in the data access application).<\/li>\n<li>Additional data available comprises: exercise tests, skin cutometry data, DEXA, whole body and brain MRI, accelerometry data, aging clocks, plasma p-tau217 and neurofilament light chain quantification, measurement of plasma senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP) factors, apolipoprotein E e4 phenotype and a plasma lipid panel (see <strong>Table 3 <\/strong>in the data access application).<\/li>\n<li>Data requiring special permissions for access includes: CD4 and CD8 T cell phenotypic and metabolic profiling, plasma redox potential data and apolipoprotein and ATPase\u00a0Inhibitory\u00a0Factor\u00a01 (IF1) expression data (see <strong>Table 4 <\/strong>in the data access application).<\/li>\n<li>Biological samples collected in INSPIRE-T include dental plaque, saliva, urine, blood, peripheral blood mononuclear cells, skin samples, hair follicles, stools and nasopharyngeal swabs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>To apply for data access and\/or biological samples<\/strong> please complete the data access application (including appendix 1 for biological samples) and email the completed form along with your project name and identifier to: <a href=\"mailto:ihuos_inspiredataaccess@chu-toulouse.fr\">ihuos_inspiredataaccess@chu-toulouse.fr<\/a>\u00a0 (cc: <a href=\"mailto:nicola.coley@inserm.fr\">nicola.coley@inserm.fr<\/a>, <a href=\"mailto:guyonnet.s@chu-toulouse.fr\">guyonnet.s@chu-toulouse.fr<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Data use agreement and publication policy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By submitting a study proposal researchers agree to the terms and conditions set out in the data use agreement and publication policy.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The publication policy contains a compulsory acknowledgement section (listing members of the IHU HealthAge INSPIRE\/Open Science study group) and funding statement. Prior to submission, all manuscripts must be sent to <a href=\"mailto:ihuos_inspiredataaccess@chu-toulouse.fr\">ihuos_inspiredataaccess@chu-toulouse.fr<\/a> (cc: <a href=\"mailto:nicola.coley@inserm.fr\">nicola.coley@inserm.fr<\/a>) to verify that the data use agreement and the publication policy have been adhered to.
